Guillaume LOPEZ was born on February 6, 1962 in Rouen. He lives in Paris region. He practises karting and model making car radiocontrolled.

Impassioned since always by the car, he hesitates a few years between the wheel and the pencil and will end up choosing the solution which will want to smile to him well. This solution will arise in 1983 pennies the form of its integration to the studio Jean Graton.

Autodidact in search of councils technical and come to present his drawings to the author of his preferred cartoon, this one will quite simply propose to him to succeed Clovis then wishing “to fly of his own wings”.

It will be the starting point of a collaboration which has today more than twenty years and more than twenty albums to its credit, which to date makes of him the most faithful draughtsman of mass-production cars of the Michel Vaillant !

It will be also a formidable motivation, always intact besides, and then especially, the recognition of a certain credibility which will enable him to collaborate with many companies concerned with the car, large manufacturers, advertising agencies, press, television, etc…

In parallel, it also forms part of the drafting of M6, television channel for which it completes work of graphics for the flashes of information.

One has been able to say without false modesty that beyond Jean Graton, Michel Vaillant would not be completely what it is without Guillaume Lopez, so much all that rolls in this data base owes him much for more than 20 years !
